Independent · Built by a Base44 developer
Stuck on Base44? Start here.
Paste an error and get the cause and the fix. Estimate what your app will cost to run each month. And when you'd rather hand it to someone who has shipped a dozen Base44 apps, there's a developer to call.
Tools
Two things Base44 doesn't give you.
Error decoder
22 documented errors and stuck states, from ISOLATE_INTERNAL_FAILURE to "domain pending verification", with the fix and the plan gate for each.
Credit estimator
Emails, LLM calls, agents and workflows → integration credits per month → which plan fits, and which levers cut the bill.
Hire a developer
Builds, rescues, custom domains, GitHub sync, handovers. Free 20-minute review first.
How a rescue works
Three days, usually.
Review
Send the app link. Ari reads the code, the data model and the credit usage, and tells you what's wrong and what it would take. Free, 20 minutes.
Fix
Direct code edits through the Base44 connection: no credits spent, every change checkpointed so you can roll back.
Hand back
A written note of what changed, the domain and security settings checked, and the running cost modelled.
What trips people up
The four walls every Base44 builder hits.
Backend functions that 404 because the workspace is on the wrong plan. A custom domain that never verifies because Cloudflare's orange cloud is on. GitHub sync that turns out to be permanent. Credits that drain because every message runs in build mode. All four are documented; the guides cover them in plain language.
Questions
Are you Base44?
No. This is an independent site by Ari Rosenberg, a developer who builds on Base44 (and Wix) for clients. Base44 is a product of Wix.com. For official support use Base44's help centre; for a second pair of hands, you're in the right place.
What does a Base44 developer cost?
Rescue and fix sessions are quoted per job; full builds from $2,500 depending on scope. A free 20-minute review comes first, so you know whether it's worth paying for.
Can you take over an app someone else started?
Yes. Collaborator access to the workspace is enough; GitHub sync isn't required.
Why does my app cost credits to run?
Base44 charges integration credits when the app does things: sends email, calls an AI model, runs a workflow, generates an image. Building costs message credits. The estimator shows the running cost before you commit to a plan.
Will you use Base44's AI to build?
For the first prompt, yes; after that, code edits are made directly, which costs no credits and gives precise control.
